Create a product

Description

This guide explains how to create a product and configure its various options in the system.

Steps to Create a Product

1. Access the Product Menu
   • Go to the "Products" section in the main menu.
   • Select "Products".
2. Create a New Product
   • Click on the "Create a Product" button.
3. Fill in the Product Information
   • Name: Enter the product name.
   • Short Description: Provide a brief description.
   • Long Description: Add a detailed description.
   • SKU: Specify a unique identifier for the product.
   • Category: Select the corresponding category (if applicable).
   • Visibility: Define the product's visibility:
     • Global: Visible everywhere.
     • Internal: Visible only to internal users.
     • Public: Visible only in the dynamic form.
   • Configuration Type: Select one of the following options:
     • Standard
     • Finished
     • Configurable
   • List Price: Enter the public sale price.
   • Cost Price: Enter the product cost.
   • Unit of Measure: Select the appropriate unit.
   • Taxable: Enable this option if the product is subject to taxes.
   • Additional Taxes: Select any applicable additional taxes.
4. Access the Product Page
   • Once the product is created, its complete details page will open.

Product Tabs Details

"Information" Tab

• Contains the details entered during product creation.

"Images" Tab

• Allows adding one or more product images.
• To set the main image, click on the desired image. A border will appear around it.

"Files" Tab

• Allows linking PDF files to the product.
• Depending on the selected visibility, these files will be accessible in the quote.

"Features" Tab

• Contains custom fields related to the product.

"Packages" Tab

• Allows selecting the packages applicable to the product.

"Options" Tab

• Allows selecting the available options for the product.
• Options Table
  • Price: Defines the price of the option when selected with this product.
  • Included: The option is automatically added to the quote and cannot be removed.
  • Pre-selected: The option is selected by default but can be deselected.
  • Suggested: The option is automatically suggested in the quote.
  • Favorite: The option is highlighted in the configurator's option selection.
