Create an option

This guide explains how to create an option.

Steps to Create an Option

1. Access the Options Menu
   • Navigate to the "Products" section in the main menu.
   • Select "Options".
2. Create a New Option
   • Click on the "Create an Option" button.
3. Fill in the Option Information
   • Name: Enter the option name.
   • Short Description: Provide a brief description.
   • Long Description: Add a detailed description.
   • SKU: Specify a unique identifier for the option.
   • Category: Select the corresponding category (if applicable).
   • Visibility: Define the option’s visibility:
     • Global: Visible everywhere.
     • Internal: Visible only to internal users.
     • Public: Visible only in the dynamic form.
   • List Price: Enter the public sale price.
   • Cost Price: Enter the cost of the option.
   • Unit of Measure: Select the appropriate unit.
   • Taxable: Enable this option if the product is subject to taxes.
   • Additional Taxes: Select any applicable additional taxes.
4. Accessing the Option Details Page
   • Once the option is created, its full details page will open.

Option Details Tabs

"Information" Tab

• Contains the information entered during option creation.

"Images" Tab

• Allows adding one or more images for the option.
• To set the main image, click on the desired image. A border will appear around it.

"Files" Tab

• Allows linking PDF files to the option.
• Depending on the selected visibility, these files will be available in the quote.

"Characteristics" Tab

• Contains custom fields related to the option.

"Relations" Tab

• Allows selecting the options with which the current option has relationships.
• For each related option, you can specify whether the relationship is:
  • Conditional: When this option is selected, the related option must also be selected.
  • Incompatible: When this option is selected, the related option must be removed if it was previously selected.
